Participatory Training Program on Agricultural Extension Methodology 2009
 
bbppl-mp3-peserta 1.jpgMinistry of Agriculture through The Agency for Agricultural Human Resources Development (AAHRD) and State Secretariat Republic of Indonesia in cooperation with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) organized “Participatory Training Program on Agricultural Extension Methodology” for Asia and Africa, which will be held on November 9th-21st, 2009. This training will place on Jakarta, Lembang and Yogyakarta, attend by 19 participants from 9 countries such as: Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Timor Leste, Thailand, Egypt and South Africa.
 

 

 

bbppl-mp3-all of.jpgThe opening ceremony held on Monday, November 9th, 2009 at 10.00 a.m in Catur Gatra Room, Building D The Agency of Agricultural Human Resources Development Office. The training officially opened by The Director General of AAHRD, Mr. Ato Suprapto attended by Senior Representative JICA Indonesia Office, Director of Agricultural Extension Development Center and Director of Lembang NATC.
 
After the Opening Ceremony, participants had a class with Mr. Hanny Kartadisastra about Dynamics Group, then followed by Extension System and Policy provided by the Director of Agricultural Extension Development Center, Mr. Mei Rochjat Darmawiredja. After that, the participants went to Lembang National Agricultural Training Center.

bbppl-mp3-dinner.jpgThe participants will be in BBPP Lembang for 7 days from the 9th – 21st, 2009. Arrival of participants greeted with welcome dinner by the Director of Lembang NATC, Mr. Suryowihardi on Monday, November 9th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. During in Lembang NATC, participants will have a class for 3 days and make visits to the Incubator Agribusiness Center in Aeroponic Potatoes, Mushrooms and Ornamental Plants. Participants also will directly see the advanced farmer and advanced farmer group at Cihideung and Cibodas lembang on Friday, November 13rd, 2009.

To learn more about Indonesian history and culture of West Java, participants will be taken to The Asian-African Museum and Sundanese Art and Bamboo Craft Centre “Saung Angklung Udjo”.
